It’s probably no news to you, but there is a crisis in our churches today. The crisis is not over the choices the ladies’ fellowship makes over the color of the nursery carpet or whether or not women should wear pants. The crisis is not that the pastor didn’t preach a “Mothers’ Day’ sermon. Unfortunately, it’s a crisis over the question, “What does believe mean?” That’s about as fundamental a crisis as you can get into. We can phrase it another way: “What is saving faith?”

WHAT'S NEW FOR 2008

FREE GRACE DIGEST

Free Grace Seminary is excited to announce the introduction of a new practical ministry journal, Free Grace Digest. Dr. Michael Halsey, President of Free Grace Seminary will serve as the editor of this valuable new resource. Leading free grace pastors and teachers will contribute articles that will edify the body of Christ and serve to better equip those who are interested in communicating the gospel of grace clearly, accurately and effectively. The first issue of Free Grace Digest is due out in the fall of 2008.

FREE GRACE THEOLOGICAL JOURNAL

We also are launching a theological journal that will be packed with in-depth articles on various doctrinal and theological issues from a free grace perspective. Dr. J. B. Hixson, Executive Director of Free Grace Alliance and Professor of Theology at Free Grace Seminary will serve as the Editor of the Free Grace Theological Journal. Contributors will include free grace scholars and academicians from around the world. The first issue of this new journal also is due out in the fall of 2008.

A Primer on Traditional Dispensational Soteriology

We are perhaps most excited about a new publication ministry. Free Grace Publications will serve as the publishing arm of the seminary and will provide significant contributions on a variety of theological and practical subjects authored by leading free grace scholars.

The first project set for publication by the summer of 2008 is a book entitled, Free Grace Theology. This will be a compendium of articles containing a comprehensive overview of free grace theology.

It will include articles on topics such as What is Free Grace Theology?, What is the Gospel?, What Does it Mean to Believe the Gospel?, Repentance, Eternal Security, Rewards, and the Bema Judgment. and many more. Dr. J. B. Hixson will serve as the general editor of this valuable new book and Rick Whitmire, Vice President of Administrative Affairs for Free Grace Seminary, will serve as the consulting editor.

Please be in prayer for us as we work on these new publications. Pray that the Lord will use them to advance the message of grace and equip men and women around the world to proclaim the gospel clearly, accurately and unashamedly.
