Admission Information

The Admissions Department at Free Grace Seminary looks forward to guiding you through the application process!

We understand that your educational choice is very important because it will play a leading role in shaping your future. We hope that you will see that FGS will do more than just prepare you for a ministry - it will prepare you for life. You will learn to apply Biblical truth consistently, grow in spiritual maturity and gain wisdom.  You will also develop a Christian world view.  All of this will take place while you gain a superior Biblical education!

     The Admission Process:

FGS is committed to an individualized acceptance process. We desire to be as fair as possible in making our decisions. We considers many elements in evaluating each application, including, but not limited to one's salvation experience, personal information, academic background, recommendations, personal references, leadership qualities, and Christian testimony. The seminary reserves the right to admit or deny admission to any non-Christian or non-evangelical individual or any individual from an organization having a theological stance which is not in accord with the Seminary's Statement of Faith.

To enroll at the Bachelor’s level of study, the applicant must have a High School diploma, General Education Development (G.E.D.), or its equivalency. Applicants who have been home-schooled are most welcome and must also submit a transcript listing courses taken and grades earned, verifying that a definite curriculum was followed.

To enroll at the Seminary level of study, the applicant must have a Bachelor degree or its equivalent from an accredited or approved college.

     Non-Discriminatory Policy:

Free Grace Seminary admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.  It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic; origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.

     Transfer of Credit:

Transfer Students transferring to FGS from an accredited or approved colleges, and seminaries should have official transcripts sent directly to the Office of Admissions. Transcripts will be evaluated in terms of the curriculum at FGS and credit will be allowed whenever possible for equivalent courses taken elsewhere. Work completed with a grade below C is not transferable.

     When to Enroll:

Students may enroll in Free Grace Seminary Online Distant Education Programs at any time. Those students desiring to attend the courses, seminars and workshops offered on-site at any of the School's locations, must enroll in accordance with the Academic Calendar.
