The Doctor of Theology (Th.D.) program provides students with academically rigorous doctoral training for theological engagement with the faith and practices of Christian communities. The Th.D. degree program at FGS is a personalized approach designed to equip those who teach at the college or seminary levels, or anyone else who desires a strong biblical teaching ministry.  This degree requires a Master of Divinity or Master of Theology degree, the ability to engage in high level biblical and theological research and writing, critical thinking skills, and a fluency in the biblical languages.  For those with a MDiv degree, the Th.D. requires an additional sixty credit hours of course work.  For those with a ThM degree, it requires and additional thirty credit hours of course work.
