The Enrichment Program
Auditing a Course
Practically anyone can audit a class at FGS as an enrichment student. Students in the enrichment program come from all walks of life, and they audit classes for a variety of reasons, but all share a passion for learning. The program is designed to allow elders, deacons, teachers, and others in volunteer church-oriented ministries to delve deeper into the Bible and experience some of the benefits of advanced biblical training.
You can explore a wide range of subjects. It's intense but without the pressures of assignments, exams, grades or admission requirements. Auditors receive no academic credit for their participation in a class. Do not audit a class if you wish to receive academic credit on your transcript or for transfer to another institution.
Certificate Programs Available to the Enrichment Student
Certificate in Evangelism
You will learn to share the gospel of Christ with anyone, anywhere, at anytime. This course (PMIN 108 Personal Evangelism) will help you to overcome the two biggest struggles in evangelism, fear and not knowing how to present the gospel. The course covers everything from how to turn a conversation to spiritual things - to how to lead a person to faith in Christ - to how to disciple a new believer.
Certificate in Biblical Studies
The Certificate in Biblical Studies is awarded to students completing 10 courses (Bible, Christian Education and Theology), in preparation designed to prepare servant-leaders for a variety of volunteer church-oriented ministry.
Students receive no academic credit for their participation in an enrichment certificate program.
