Mission & Purpose Statements

Free Grace Seminary is a ministry of County Line Church in Hampton, Georgia, was founded in Hampton, Georgia in August 2004 by Dr. Michael D. Halsey, Dr. Jack Bartlett, and Rick Whitmire.  FGS was established to provide systematic and comprehensive training in the Word of God from a free grace perspective.

At FGS we claim a philosophy of education that promotes small classes, personal discipleship, individual attention, class participation and most importantly, "hands-on" teaching by our professors. With the inclusion of online courses, FGS is able to offer classes taught by men who are recognized internationally as leaders in the Free Grace movement. This ensures our students a comprehensive and balanced education.

     Mission Statements:

Our mission is to glorify God by equipping godly servant-leaders for the proclamation of His Word, the building up of the body of Christ, and to advance the cause of Christ by presenting the gospel of God's amazing grace, "Faith Alone in Christ Alone."

     Purpose Statement:

Our purpose as an institution of higher learning with a distinctively biblical curriculum is committed to academic and practical programs designed to prepare servant-leaders for a variety of vocational and volunteer church-oriented ministries locally and worldwide.
