Proctor Information
A proctor is needed for all online distance education students. The student's local pastor in most circumstances will be the approved proctor. Students coordinate with their professors and proctor when they are ready to test, and the proctor mails the test to FGS for grading. It is the proctor’s responsibility to ensure the academic integrity of the testing process. Exam Procedures for Proctors: 1. What does a proctor do? A proctor is a liaison between FGS and its students to ensure that testing is done under secure conditions. The proctor: *Receives and administers the exam. *Ensures the identity of test-takers. *Maintains proximity with and is able to observe the student during the entire test-taking period. *Ensures that test-takers complete the exam according to the instructor's instructions. 2.
